And therefore, we need you: An impact driven, ambitious and committed mind who shares our vision and values. Support us as a Senior Software Developer to maximize our impact by building our optimization platform end-to-end, implementing our algorithms or onboarding and mentoring your colleagues.

Your responsibilities

As a Senior Software Developer, you will not only be shaping our energy transition platform end-to-end, but also take responsibility for leading the team by bringing your best knowledge to junior engineers:

• You will mentor and coordinate people and their workflows by bringing your best knowledge into the team
• You will support your colleagues during their onboarding, daily operations and strategic tasks
• Define and foster engineering best practices and spend time teaching engineers and data scientists on how to use our tools
• Build our optimization platform end-to-end, across dimensions such as data ingestion and processing, optimization logic implementation, battery control, automated power trading
• Implementation of our optimization and trading algorithms with focus on immediate go-lives as well as strategic, long-term focussed advancement of our platform
• Work cross-functionally, especially with data scientists to support them in the implementation of our optimization logic, automated trading execution, and battery control
• Maintain and improve our tech stack and development environments and build infrastructure, from how services are developed and tested, to how they are built and integrated, to how they are monitored

Your profile

We re looking for an open and ambitious mindset to join our talented and motivated team sharing our passion for greenifying the energy system.

For Entrix, you would be a great match if you bring the following experiences and skills:

• 5+ years of experience in the area of software developing and worked with AWS
• 2-3 years of programming experience with Python including object-oriented design and AWS Cloud services like Lambda, DynamoDb, Serverless
• You have 2+ years experience in onboarding, mentoring and coaching colleagues in junior positions
• You are used to working cross-functionally, especially with our Product and Data Science team to bring across complex ideas and concepts
• You are a team player to effectively bring across complex ideas and concepts, but you are also able to work on solutions individually
• You enjoy working in and shaping a dynamic, fast-paced working environment, preferably in the energy sector
• You think strategically and analytically. As much as you enjoy working with your colleagues, you take pleasure from building infrastructures and optimizing solutions for our optimization platform
• You are proficient in English
