Job Description

We are seeking a self-driven and motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist with a business development mindset to join our clients team. Attracting and retaining premier talent is vital to our ever evolving business. In this role you will partner extensively with internal clients and Recruiting Specialists to build exceptional teams. Along with leveraging your network and external agencies for prospective candidates, you will actively seek out new ways to market us as a highly sought after global employer.

Our client is a disruptor by definition. When they grew to prominence, terms like: algorithmic trading, quants, or quantitative trading... did not exist. You could not google these terms, because they literally did not exist. While theyve achieved incredible success and stature, theyve maintained a tight / driven / scrappy / innovative... yet, remarkably healthy (work / life balance), fun (cool & smart team members youll likely want to hang out with), and very people-oriented management / environment.

What Youll Do:

  • Collaborate with leadership and your internal clients globally to develop and execute thoughtful recruiting strategies
  • Serve as a guide throughout the recruitment process, guiding your candidates and internal clients from the initial stages of the interview experience to managing a seamless closing process
  • Screen, qualify and present highly caliber candidates for consideration both opportunistically and for specific positions.
  • Construct competitive offer packages that will set your team apart from the rest, taking into consideration market data, internal comparable data and candidate expectations
  • Conduct in-depth research to source the best and brightest candidates while also seeking out new and creative methods for sourcing talent
  • Develop personal relationships with candidates and within the organization which will enable you to best assess fit, potential and longevity for the position.
  • Collaborate extensively with leadership and the global recruiting team to create successful strategies for marketing and building their global brand
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with outside recruitment agencies to ensure the companys reputation as the global employer of choice
  • Stay current on industrytrends and competitor activity
  • Other duties as assigned or needed

What Youll Need:

  • At least 3-5 yearsexperience with full life cycle recruiting in a corporate setting and/or staffing search firm
  • Professional experience with all or one of the following: Tech, Trading and/or Financial Services
  • Ability to negotiate independently and influence others at all levels within the organization
  • Proven experience with direct sourcing and building networks
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you can effortlessly multitask and adapt when requirements change
  • Strong analytical skills with a strong appetite to learn new areas of the business outside of your immediate comfort zone
  • Experience working in a global firm, where collaborating and working effectively with other team members was put at a premium
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and act with a sense of urgency
  • Reliable and predictable availability


Needs someone who can work across diff environments and define a deployment process and implement them, i.e.: GCP, Azure, and AWS. However, the most important environment that you should be very familiar with is GCP. Web development, linux based environments MySQL databases, Nginx. NoSQL databases such as ElasticSearch would be a bonus. Jenkins and Teamcity Docker
