QA Engineer

As our team of Rocketeers continues to grow, we are searching for a QA Engineer who will actively contribute to and review the design and code quality of our product. You will be building test automation at all levels, focusing on testability, efficiency, reliability and reusability.

You ll work closely with other tech team members and ensure automation coverage. You won t mind getting stuck in and being hands-on when it comes to learning new methods and developing tests for new features as well as reworking existing code.

Tasks

Your key tasks:

• Automate external quality assurance tests necessary for SEO, Security and Reliability
• Design test scenarios and propose an understanding of the end-solution
• Setting up the infrastructure to run tests: tests in CI/CD, parallel.
• Configure automated tests to execute reliably and efficiently in CI/CD environment
• Identify testing requirements and create test specifications and test plan documents
• Develop automated test cases and scripts to create a test automation framework
• Create environments and write integration, system, acceptance, load, performance and stress tests
• Regularly implement functional and exploratory testings
• Create & manage bug reports and communicate with the team
• Collaborate with software engineers and assist with debugging
• Actively improve the overall design, testability, and quality of the tests
• Be the gatekeeper of quality and the driver of automating processes
• Enforce the quality mindset in the team, by providing support on developers to test their code
• Developing tools to assist manual and exploratory testing
• Regularly monitor and measure our code quality metrics and technical debt
• Communicate with Product Managers and Software Engineers to ensure qualitative delivery aligned with correct requirements
• Have a proactive approach to learning, growth, and sharing

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience in Test Automation, Test Tooling and Infrastructure, and Development Deployment Operations.
• Knowledge of test methodologies, principles and guidelines
• Exposure to Behaviour Driven Development and understanding of object oriented programming
• Experience of working "AGILE + DevOps" process management methodology.
• Good knowledge of Web and API testing tools such as Cypress, Postman
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git
• Experience working with debugging tools
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
• Self-motivated and highly organized

Nice to have:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a similar field
• Experience with Cypress, Selenium, Postman, Jmeter, Cucumber
• Good understanding of Web Technologies and how these can be tested. Bonus points for Wordpress QA automation experience
• Good understanding on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Experience using scripting languages (PHP, Python, Bash)
• Have a passion for quality, automation and ability to recognize risks and errors
• Strong communication skills (preferably in English and a second language)
• iGaming, gaming and/or affiliate experience
