Technical Sales Manager Food Ingredients m/f/d

you have experience in selling products to the Austrian Food Industrie or you work for a couple of years for a Food producer e.g. in Production, Quality, R&D

Area: Austria and further SEE countries optional

Location: office based Vienna or home office based

Background and role

• We are providing local expertise to our long-standing suppliers and customers in the SEE region. Offering an extensive synergistic portfolio and a continual focus on business development, We have successfully delivered year-on-year growth.
• The planning and coordination of their multinational activities take place in the state-of-the-art SEE headquarters in Vienna, Aus

Tasks

• Direct sales responsibility for the defined sales area (focus Austria, further SEE countries optional)
• Supporting the existing customer base and processing of customer inquiries
• Actively seek and develop new business opportunities and new customers to ensure long-term growth in relevant market segments
• Build and maintain customer relationships
• Budget creation in the field of responsibility
• Ensure correct processing of all internal and external sales documents (e.g. offers, samples, contracts)
• Collection of customer and market potentials (e.g. at trade fairs and seminars)
• Regular customer visits and continuous maintenance of CRM system (Salesforce)
• Regular reporting to the Division-Manager

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in the food industry, like selling ingredients or in a plant or a quality role

• Finished university degree (minimum bachelor or higher), preferably in Food Technology/Chemistry or closely related subject
• Strong technical and chemical background

• Fluent in English and German (Eastern European language is a plus)
• High motivation and flexibility
• Willingness to travel, Active driver B
• Strong communication skills, entrepreneurial spirit
• Hands-on personality with a positive and problem-solving approach
