Tasks

Your home base will be the People & Workplace Team. Reporting to the VP of People, you will manage one office assistant and partner closely with four other people team members day-to-day. Our main purpose is to serve and support our 100+ Wire colleagues around the globe and empower them to be productive while we still foster a culture of collaboration and coming home-mentality for our workplace. Your new area of expertise:

• Act as our Wire ambassador for a supportive, collaborative and genuine work experience for all global team members as well as in all three office locations in Germany, Switzerland and in the US
• Ownership of a positive end-to-end workplace experience, e.g. facilitation of onboarding days, social events and initiatives, and departure processes
• Workplace purchases and travel management in coordination with our Finance Team
• Support and service of incoming employee requests via Jira, e.g. regarding additional hardware requests, software accounts, office access or other work equipment
• Planning, conception and implementation of workplace expansion strategy in other regions around the globe
• Introduction and maintenance of local workplace safety strategy, e.g. First responder workshops or work safety initiatives
• Manage one office assistant to make sure company apartment, catering, post mail management runs smoothly
• Special projects in collaboration with the People Team to support and increase employee engagement

Requirements

• You are business proficient in written and spoken German and English (required for this role)
• You enjoy taking ownership of a full workplace experience lifecycle and don t just see the administrative part of being a Workplace Experience Manager
• You already have one to two years of experience as a Workplace Manager or Office manager and you can navigate an ambiguous work environment
• You like interacting with the team and learning about their needs regarding our workplace
• You bring in a commercial and business administration understanding which will help you to own and manage your workplace budget and liaise with Finance
• You would describe yourself as very capable in terms of structuring, planning and executing set goals or projects
• You are characterized by a friendly manner, a high degree of flexibility and responsibility
• You have already worked with ideally Jira, Confluence, BambooHR or other softwares
