Who you are

As a Packaging Supervisor you are working in one of our Infarm Growing Centres, where we produce plants at scale using our vertical farming techniques. You ideally have some experience of working in an industrial manufacturing environment. You are well organized and reliable, able to understand and follow clear processes and instructions, and like being hands on with your day to day work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the packaging line to meet or exceed quality parameters to produce each product
• Ensure the team meets or exceeds line productivity and quality expectations including but not limited to speed, quantity and safety requirements
• Follow defined workflows and production schedules to ensure daily volume requirements are met to our high standards of quality; oversee the line and make sure the correct workflow is implemented to run the line at desired speeds
• Accurately complete production line paperwork and documentation as required for reporting purposes
• Be able to operate the packaging machine(s) including basic troubleshooting
• Control line settings within agreed and trained parameters to produce each product
• Restock consumables needed to contribute to the finished product on the line
• Engage in basic quality control, as determined to sit with the production team
• Ensure the safety of yourself and others by following Hygiene, Health and Safety guidelines
• Be part of a world class production team ensuring the delivery of high standard produce to our clients with minimal food waste.

Requirements

• Valid working visa
• Strong attention to detail and a good eye for cleanliness and hygiene
• Confident and comfortable working alone as well as part of a team
• Experience working in a labour intensive industrial manufacturing role and/or the food manufacturing industry an advantage
• Experience and a basic technical understanding of the operation of automated food packaging lines is a big plus
• Operational days will include working on weekends.
