Senior Full-stack developer for dynamic indy developer (f/m/x)

Hindenburg is a well-established audio software developer based in the heart of Copenhagen, with a fantastic team distributed around the world.

We offer a full-time position with a flexible, hybrid work model, based on family-friendly work hours at our central Copenhagen office.

We are currently developing our next-generation products for complex audio tasks, with challenging technologies like ML, real-time audio DSP, modern cloud infrastructure and more.

Tasks

You will be responsible for taking features from idea through specification,
implementation and test in close cooperation with the rest of the team.

Your involvement and interest in contributing to system architecture,
business processes and the choice of methods, technology and tools is highly appreciated.

Your primary focus in this position will be:

• Architect sustainable and scalable cloud infrastructure for our
  future needs
• Design and build the backbone of our next-generation web-centered
  audio tools
• Build in-house tools that support sales and administration
• Implement and test applications and APIs

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience working within the field of web applications.
• Strong software development skills and knowledge of the full software development life cycle, including various tiers of tests and test automation, build automation, continuous integration, system monitoring and change management
• Mastery of internet technology, in particular web and HTTP protocols, security, accessing and creating robust web APIs, and system integrations
• A firm grip on cloud architecture, infrastructure and deployment best practices (DevOps).
• A holistic perspective of data modelling on the largest scale beyond a separate system or module
• Proficiency in SQL and other database techniques
• Backend development with C# and .NET Core with experience in developing modular web applications and APIs
• Frontend development from HTML and CSS to Javascript and beyond, proficiency in working with time-tested frontend frameworks

Nice to have:

• Experience using media and audio technologies that run inside the browser Audio element, Web Audio API, Media Source Extensions, WebRTC/VoIP, RTP/RTPC, streaming media
• Knowledge of other advanced browser technologies such as Progressive Web Apps, WebAssembly, IndexedDB and other local storage
• A distinct feel for UI, UX and graphic design
• Interest in audio-related Machine Learning and DSP - practical and theoretical experience related to audio signal restoration, speech recognition, audio/text alignment, speech synthesis and model training
