No-Code Developer (bubble) (w/m/d)

Become a developer in one of Switzerland's biggest no-code projects.

At Farie, we are on a mission to make it as easy and transparent as possible to buy and sell cars online.

As a subsidiary of the Swiss car subscription pioneer Carvolution, Farie benefits from strategic and operational synergies that allow us to grow fast . Our ambition is to build the largest online car dealer in Switzerland.

We are one of the few companies to have built an entire, well-oiled business on no-code tools. We started developing from scratch in July 2021 and sold our first car online in January 2022. If you re looking to step up your no-code game to a full-time profession, this position is for you!

Tasks

You are responsible for the technical implementation of new features, products and improvements with the help of our no-code applications.

You will also;

• Spot tedious recurring tasks and automate them
• Support colleagues with technical questions and challenges around our products
• Leverage the latest no-code trends and tools
• Make sure the team knows about your developments
• Contribute to making our product team efficient, effective and fun

Requirements

• Experience with bubble and Make (formerly Integromat)
• Proven ability to build and maintain a no-code project (hobby projects count)
• Willingness to learn to code
• Fluent in German or English
• Legally permitted to work in Switzerland
• [Bonus points for] Fluent in both German and English
• [Bonus points for] Any type of coding experience
• [Bonus points for] Knowledge of the car industry and/or passion for cars

Team

• You ll work in the product team alongside Philipp (developer), Pascal (chief product officer) and Paul (product manager) - check our Instagram, you ll see us there
• We re aiming to be 7 people in the product team by the beginning of 2023 (i.e. we want to hire 3 more (no-code)-developers)
• We work in 2-week sprints using scrum

Tech Stack

• Everything you see on our homepage - and lots more you can t see - is built on bubble, Make (formerly Integromat) and Webflow
• We have bubble API connectors to our logistics partner Cotra
• We have some javascript connectors on our website
• Jira manages our tasks and Confluence our documentation
• We use the full breadth of the Google Suite
• Google Sheets is used as our data analysis tool currently - but we re on our way to switching to Mixpanel
• Slack is our internal communications tool

In 2023 we will start moving the first features and parts of our products to code (we will figure out the tech stack in the coming weeks). In parallel, we will keep developing with no-code tools. Even after the migration is complete (probably end of 2023), we will keep using bubble for experiments and tests - enough to keep this 100% role open.
