About the Tech & Data Team:

The team is responsible for designing, implementing and operating the IT systems based on the requirements of colleagues from the countries, where EDRI is present. This includes for example the selection and customization of SaaS solutions for the different teams, continuously developing our cloud infrastructure and providing the data analytics required to run our CPO business successfully.

As the team will continue to grow, you can make sure with us that we get the right people on board to implement our IT roadmap.

We have a flat hierarchy and you will report directly to the COO.

The part you ll play:

EDRI is looking for an experienced IT Solutions Architect (m/f/d) to design our IT systems and architect solutions aligning to platform strategy and the domain roadmaps. In this position, you will also drive your own projects from end to end.

This role is perfect for individuals with the ability to work collaboratively in a team in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment where ownership and impact are highly valued.

We are looking for an Architect (m/f/d) who proactively and voluntarily takes the first steps to identify and address issues as well as opportunities and continuously push business forward and take ownership/responsibility.

Successful candidates (m/f/d) have experience with modern, multi-country enterprise paradigms, international experience and experience with E-Mobility. This is a hybrid position with a mix of home office and on-site at our Headquarters in Essen, Germany.

Tasks

Some examples of your daily tasks:

• Accountable for the design and implementation of the future-ready architectural framework of EDRI IT systems and platforms
• Provide the technical expertise and direction for decisions over systems, APIs and cloud infrastructure
• Support colleagues with guidance and technical input during the implementation of IT projects including Cyber Security and Data Privacy requirements
• Actively collaborate with stakeholders like the COO, Platform Lead, Data Analyst and Business stakeholders.

Requirements

What You ll Bring To The Team:

• Profound experience across Architecture, Software Development and DevOps for example as Plattform Architect, DevOps Engineer, Enterprise Architect or Cloud Architect (m/f/d) with a demonstrated E-Mobility domain experience
• Experience with cloud-based technologies for both streaming and batch use cases, preferably Azure (Data Factory, Event Hub, Databricks, Kubernetes, API Manager, )
• Excellent understanding of the E-Mobility CPO business to design and implement systems that enable, digitize and automate the business/business processes
• Be able to set up a complex data architecture that can cater to today s and future use cases with learnings from the experience of past projects
• Great communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and a can-do mindset
• Demonstrated a growth and learning mindset and motivation to support colleagues with input and as a sparring partner for projects
