Honeywell is looking for Apprenticeship who will be trained in 24 months as Junior Application Engineer for our Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) division based in Monza.

Tasks

Position summary:

The Junior application engineer apprenticeship is responsible for assisting the Project Engineering Manager with the delivery of projects of integrated solutions that have a complex technical design requirement.Supporting for coordinating the input of various key internal and external stakeholders, they must have good communications skills.Duties include HVAC system design, network infrastructure design, controller SW development, commissioning support.

Your responsibilities:

• Assessment of customer site for installation requirements, design.
• Complete complex and integrated HVAC system design , implementation and documentation
• Develop controller software, perform bench testing if required and deliver commissioning package to field. Assist delivery in start up as required.
• Submittal include I/O data point List, Equipment Schedule & Schematics, Wiring Layout Drawings, Functional Specifications
• Assist for application engineer during programming and site activities as well as technical project management.
• Definition of scope.
• Use Quality Assurance procedures and ensure defect-free hardware and software to field delivery team.

Requirements

Requirements:

• You are under 29 and you are going to graduate or you are graduated in master degree in Automation, Electronic, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent direction of studies, or high school diploma in a technical institute
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of HVAC applications
• Knowledge and competency of automation communication protocols, for example: BacNet, Modbus, OPC, KNX, or other protocols
• Base Knowledge of Server OS and DB SQL
• Base Knowledge of Networking,
• Self starting, able to work with a minimum of supervision
• Commitment to customer satisfaction
• Excellent communication - both verbal and written
• Self-motivated
• The ability to work under pressure
