JOB DESCRIPTION:
The client is seeking a Network Engineer to support stand-alone and integrated network and communication architectures for advanced technical missions within the Intelligence Community. Working both independently and as part of a cross-functional team, you will lead and support efforts to ensure a reliable, efficient, and optimized network and communications architectures for our client's command, control, and data transmissions of developmental technical capabilities, and advise on and provide custom electronics and technology solutions in support of critical special communication capability gaps and emerging operational requirements. Duties also include:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years of Relevant Experience.
- TS/SCI w/CI Polygraph
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within or lead a team of peers.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills.
- Ability to communicate highly-technical analyses in a way that is easily understood by non-technical individuals (clients, client's customers, senior-level government)
- Expert knowledge and use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience developing and maintaining configuration control documentation.
- Understanding of mobile telephony theory, infrastructure, protocols.
- Understanding of wireless and network communications theory, infrastructure, and protocols.
- Understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) communications, bands, and protocols.
- Experience working for/within the DoD Intelligence Community on client site is desired but not required.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in a Relevant field of study.
Advance degree is desired but not required.
CERTIFICATION(S):
- Certifications for Information System Security Representative (ISSR) or DCID 6/3.
- Current ESRI Enterprise Administration Associate Certification and ESRI Enterprise System Design Associate Certification or equivalent certifications.
