Android Community Engineer

Role Title: Android Community Engineer - Games

Location: Mountain View, CA [On-Site]

Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities:

• Handle questions and discussions from Android game developers.
• Understand mobile game development and best practices in Android SDKs, APIs and Google Play Services.
• Create technical code labs and samples to drive Community engagement.
• Run study jams and campaigns to build up Community awareness and participation.
• Monitor and moderate user generated content in the Game forums - ensure that users and content adheres to the community code of conduct.
• Create Forum content from internal design documents and public content (documentation, videos,
• blogs, samples, etc.).
• Regular Forum content posting to build an active and engaged community.

Skills Required:

• BS/BE in computer science or equivalent.
• Good understanding of tools, libraries, services, and optimization for Android games.
• Strong C++ and Java programming skills.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Android games development is a plus.
• Familiarity with Unity and Unreal game engines is a plus.
• Familiarity with cross-platform PC development is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in using forum and bug management systems.
• Experience building and managing a community is a plus.
• Familiar with ADB commands, Android debugging with Bug reports, logcat logs is a plus.
