Head of finance (m/f/d)

Your mission

We are looking for an ambitious finance leader with relevant hands-on expertise in the areas of financial modelling & reporting, controlling, and accounting. Reporting directly to the founders, you will provide strategic direction and operational excellence to support the leadership team. You will be responsible to bring our finance set-up to the next level by implementing scalable tools, processes and policies.

What you ll do:

• You will own FP&A including financial model, forecasting, budgeting, projections and cash vs burn tracking, etc.
• You will build and scale our reporting for investors and for Series B.
• Manage our relationships with external stakeholders who support us - accountants, auditors, taxation and payroll.
• Partner up with senior leadership to develop a reporting system across departments to accurately track KPIs and budgets.
• Manage customer subscription, annual accounts including audits, and payroll of our highly international staff.

Your profile

• You bring 5+ years of finance experience, ideally in a VC-backed start-up, and experience with fundraising & investor relations.
• You have a deep understanding of the core financial disciplines (FP&A, accounting, budgeting, and forecasting).
• You have previously played a key role in building and maintaining the financial modelling & reporting for Investors and fundraising.
• You embrace an entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on generating impact fast, showing cognitive flexibility to tackle strategic as well as operational tasks.
• You have super strong spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets/Excel).
• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
