CMS Compliance Specialist

The position requires 2 weeks per month onsite at DOM office in Jackson, MS, for 21 total onsite weeks in MS, plus attendance at the 3 conferences as listed below (for a total of 24 weeks traveling onsite/representing the Agency at conferences).

Healthcare IT experience (8 years)

Strong experience in the development of CMS Advanced Planning Documents (APDs) with technical strategy, as well as associated budgets, with federal matching funds. (5 years)

Strong experience in the development and presentation of technical procurements, including the development of business cases, RFPs, LOCs, etc. (5 years)

Strong experience in the presentation of APDs, RFPs, and technical documentation to CMS, gaining the formal approval of APDs, RFPs, and technical documentation from CMS (5 years)

Strong knowledge of State of Mississippi procurement processes (2 years) Strong knowledge of Medicaid programs and Medicaid data (5 years) Strong presentation and communication skills (2 years)
