This job offering is for the position of Embedded Linux lead developer for working in preboot/BIOS/UEFI technologies
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead a team of engineers and work towards the milestones.
Ensure quality of deliverables. Review the deliverables prepared by team.
Ontime completion of project responsible for self as well as team deliverables
Effective task estimation, planning and tracking of project
Competency development of self and team technical as well as softskills
Participate in organization activities cultivate innovation, knowledge sharing, technology forums
Set goals to the team, monitor and provide feedback to the team. Mentor the team as needed
overall compliance of the team - Timesheet compliance, Training completion, Status reporting, Reviews, Any project specific initiatives like metrics collection
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
Minimum of 10+years as a Embedded Engineer.
Design, code and integrate software for an embedded Linux target
Customization, deployment and maintenance of Linux distribution on different hardware platforms
Expert in C programing with RTOS.
Very strong knowledge of Linux, ARM/x86 processor architecture with SOC.
Ability to write effective and reusable code according to best practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership skills and a good team player
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of hardware and low-level development is an asset
Understanding of pre-boot environment, UEFI/Legacy BIOS or Linux BIOS
Good understanding of Secure Development Life cycle (SDL)
