Internship Graphic Design (m/w/d) / E-Commerce

Job description

We are a young and ambitious e-commerce startup that is growing at a very fast pace. Since the foundation of Mister Sandman in July 2015 we are completely funded by our own operative cash-flow. With the mission of delivering quality sleep products at fair prices, easy and fast we started with one mattress and developed a broad catalogue of bedding items. We are presently active on over 15 online platforms and constantly looking for opportunities to broaden our reach. We are presently focussed on France, Germany and the Netherlands and planning to expand further to other international markets.

Tasks

• Retouching / Editing of E-commerce product images, any necessary preparation of images for marketing and web use
• Coordinating, interfacing, and supporting Business Development and Marketing departments regarding supplying retouched images.
• Conceptualizing and preparing A/B tests for data-driven decision making.
• Design and development material for our Webshop and digital promotions.
• Keeping photo database organized and updated.
• Supporting in developing content strategies

Requirements

• You are an enrolled student in the field of communication design, visual design and marketing, graphic design, or a similar subject
• You have a good eye for visual design and are confident handling design basics such as shape, color, layout and typography. You are interested in materials and textures
• You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and can use Photoshop in your sleep.
• Experience in 3D modeling and /or experience in photography is a huge plus
• You are motivated, reliable, independent and a team player.
• You are fluent in English, German is good to have.
