Head of IBI Data Infrastructure (f/m/d)

Your Tasks:

IONOS SE is Europe's largest hosting company, with over 8 million customer contracts and more than 12 million domain names, which we host in our data centers around the globe.

As part of our business carve-out, we are separating ourselves as an organization from the central Enterprise BI and establishing corresponding processes and structures ourselves. We are looking for a team leader as "Head of IBI Data Infrastructure" to support this effort. The tasks include the following activities:

• Disciplinary and functional leadership of a team with approx. 7 permanent employees from the areas of application management, software development, and quality assurance, as well as additional students.
• Introduction of processes in the area of incident and problem management as well as expansion of the team's services and building up the understanding of an internal service provider within the team.
• Ensuring the smooth operation of highly available systems (e.g., S3 storage, DWHs, etc.).
• Ensuring efficient and quality assured software development in the Data Exchange or Data Platform area based on state-of-the-art technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, S3, Airflow, etc.).
• Creation of an appreciative team culture based on trust, the motivation of the employees, and the development of the whole team according to the self-managed idea.

We Appreciate:

You have a degree in business information systems or comparable training for this exciting job. The following points are also part of your personality or part of your career path so far.

• You bring min. 2 years of experience in a technical teamleader position.
• You have knowledge in the area of incident and problem management and in the professionalization or standardization of operational processes.
• Technically, you have already had contact with state-of-the-art technologies in the areas of business intelligence and data exchange or data platform.
• You have a high technical affinity, excellent communication skills, and English is no problem for you in your daily work.
• "Not my job is not an option," and a pronounced hands-on mentality best describes your attitude towards work.
