Your mission

Welcome to your new role, as our next O&M Field Engineer (OMFE) for PV!
You will have a wide array of responsibilities, such as:

  • Identifies problems and develops corrective action plans
  • Scheduling and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Travel to project sites and vendor locations as assigned to perform all aspects of on-site installation, repair, maintenance, oversight, and modifications as required
  • Perform electric, mechanical and software component inspections, testing, repair, and troubleshooting, in accordance with its specifications.
  • Provide timely written review reports from field operation, status, and constructive feedback as requested.
  • Responds to emergency call outs
  • Ensure that all O&M activities performed at project sites complies with OEM (original equipment manufacturer) requirements and warranties
  • Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders. Responsible for all required repairs, maintenance, and monitoring of all warranty claims
  • Manage and monitor the stock of spare parts and spare units on-site. Apply the stock refill timely.
  • Manage the subcontractors and monitor their work result.
  • Follow the applicable local Health and Safety instructions and regulations. Develop and manage local HSE regulations for site activities.

Your profile

  • Education as Electrical technician or Engineer. (Let`s face it, you need to understand ACDC, Low/Medium Voltage etc, as much we love people willing to join us from different faculties, you should know your fair share of electrical conduits, right?)
  • Knowledge about PV inverter is a plus
  • Spanish & English language skills at least on C1
  • You should base nearby Badajoz or M rida, region Extremadura in Spain
  • Driving license is extremely important for the job
  • Experience dealing with customers in critical situations.
  • Willingness to travel
