Global Head Supplier Development and Quality Assurance, Swiss Technology Group

We are supporting a leading Swiss Technology Group in the search and selection of the Global Head Supplier Development and Quality Assurance

Tasks

In this key position, you will be responsible for the group-wide execution and promotion of supplier development and parts qualification.

Based in Switzerland you will lead the Global Supplier Development team with engineers in Switzerland and Malaysia and act as an escalation leader for technical advice and expertise to resolve supplier quality issues. You will travel internationally and work with your team to ensure a high level of performance in global supplier relationships, ranging from national to global requirements. You will

• lead a dedicated and highly qualified global team of Supplier Development & Quality Engineers
• ensure the development and maintenance of supplier technology capabilities in support of current and future supply chain and sourcing strategies
• enhance supplier relationships by supporting the build-up and delivery of corrective actions as well as continuous improvement plans and roadmaps
• determine the risk associated with identified issues and determines disposition promptly to support requirements
• establish performance targets and/or goals in compliance with the Groups business and operations objectives, including vendor quality management dashboard
• deliver robustness throughout the Groups supply chain including sub-tier suppliers

Requirements

For this attractive senior management position, we are looking for an internationally mobile leader with a solid technical education and track record in supplier development in industrial manufacturing (mechanical engineering, electronics, semiconductor industry, etc.) with

• several years of experience in Supplier Development & Quality management, including supplier assessment, supplier audits, and component qualification
• experience in audit process as Quality auditor or lead auditor (certification on ISO9001, 14001 /TS16949), strong analytical and investigational skills
• proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementation and management of continuous productivity and cost reduction programs
• solid German & English language skills
