DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps engineer, you will research, deploy and maintain infrastructure services such as Kubernetes, Ceph, ELK, CI/CD, Prometheus, and many other tools for our product teams to build better products with ease.

Tasks

• Take responsibility for the quality, reliability, and availability of systems and services
• Ensure timely communication and driving technical issues toward closureTroubleshoot, Maintain, Automate, Document, etc.)
• Work continuously on a task until completion or referral to third parties.
• Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with staff
• Ensure timely communication and drive technical issues toward closure.
• Develop support processes and procedures.
• Create technical documentation.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Experience within a relevant position.
• Experience in Linux/Unix systems administration.
• Experience in networking (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS etc.)
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (Shell scripting, Python etc.)
• Familiarity with one or more of the following:
• Configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack etc.)
• Virtualization technologies (KVM, QEMU etc.)
• Containerization technologies (Docker, rkt, LXC and etc.)
• Orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Swarm, Rancher etc.)
• Alerting, logging, and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK etc.)
• Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
• Willingness to take responsibility, accountability, and ownership.
• Strong team player.
