Position Name:IT Support Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Handle daily queries by emails and telephone calls for the applications in scope. Work includes query analysis, troubleshooting and getting back to the business users or IT counterpart in a timely manner in both English and Japanese.
Application monitoring and alert resolution (Japan and Global applications):
- Handling alerts generated for our applications in scope Rivermuse (RMS). Work includes investigation of alert based on the instructions mentioned in the support cards. Timely escalation of the alert to L3 and infra teams when assistance is required and notifying the business and stakeholders of any business impacting or potentially impacting issues.
Incident management:
- Handling and escalating of incidents as they occur and work to restore defined service levels.
SOD application checks and sending out status notifications:
- Follow specific instructions for each applications’ SOD checks, send out status notifications where required.
Qualifications:
- Good working knowledge of databases and writing SQL queries
- Operating systems knowledge (Unix, Linux)
- Strong written and spoken Japanese and English
PreferredQualifications:
- Experience in Production support role
- Autosys setup and configuration
- Scripting skills (e.g. Shell Scripting, Python, Perl)
- ServiceNow Hands-on Experience
