Tasks

Role Description

As a software architect you oversee the technical aspects of multiple technical projects. Based on the requirements, you create a project plan together with the project manager and ensure its completion with the technical team usually composed of software developers and testers. You ensure that high-quality standards are met throughout the projects by documenting the architecture, guiding the technical team and reviewing the delivered artifacts together with the quality assurance team.

Responsibilities

Review project requirements and solution architectures for feasibility

• Oversee and support the continuous coaching and training of technical team members
• Ensure security and privacy by design in technical projects
• Support the project manager in technical project tasks definition and estimation
• Report to the project manager about the technical aspects and status of ongoing projects
• Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and requirements for software
• Ensure creation and maintenance of technical documentation
• Verify and ensure the quality of software deliverables together with the quality assurance team
• Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace
• Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions

Requirements

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience designing and implementing software applications
• Demonstrated knowledge of web applications, cybersecurity and open-source technologies
• Strong knowledge of computer networks
• Experience developing software utilizing object-oriented coding languages such as Java, C++, PHP, TypeScript
• Outstanding collaboration and communication skills
• Experience overseeing multiple technical projects simultaneously
• Professional experience analyzing code for weaknesses and errors, and overseeing plans to improve them
• MSc/MA in computer science, engineering or relevant field
• Professional certification in software and application design and architecture is a plus
• Experience working on artificial intelligence and Blockchain projects is a plus
• Experience working on large-scale software projects is a plus
