Conceptual Game Designer (f/m/d)

Tasks

• Be the champion for generating inspiring game concepts based on external RFPs
• Take a lead in developing fresh and unique concepts that are aligned with the company strategy
• Work closely with our Business Development Team to present these pitches to our clients
• Dive into new trends within the industry and translate them to new game concepts
• Cooperate closely with the product team and design leads
• Design and map out new features & content and adjust existing ones from high to detailed level
• Create and maintain features, content, and balancing documentation
• Represent, challenge, and champion design and balancing topics within your team

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the field of Game Design
• Interested and up to date in game industry trends
• Talent for creating and presenting game pitches
• Ability to create and execute on a Creative Vision
• Ability to understand detailed requirements and translate them into design solutions
• Outside-of-the-box thinking
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to our teams
• Basic understanding of F2P mechanisms and concepts (eg. player conversion & retention)
• Excellent documentation and communication skills in English
• Self-directed and reliable working style
• A highly motivated, flexible team worker

The ideal candidate also has:

• Good understanding of the games industry in general
• Always striving to create and present new game ideas
• Multiple years of experience in pitching and pitching processes
• Natural talent and joy to give presentations
