Job Overview

Your Tasks

• Create our deployment pipelines to ensure fast and regular updates
• Ensure that logging and monitoring provides good insights into system's health
• Setup deployment strategies to reduce downtime and increase failover
• Provide infrastructure as code as well as distributed storage and data bases
• Help teams to develop their services based on 12-factor-app and cloud native principles
• Contribute to an safe and secure cloud environment
• Enable easy and fast rollbacks and backups
• Contribute to our DevOps and infrastructure strategy towards cloud

Your Profile

• 3+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer or comparable role
• Worked with one of the three biggest cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Profound knowledge in Kubernetes
• Test Automatisation, Integration- & System-Tests
• Deployment and role-out concepts (Blue-Green setup, canary deployments, ...)
• git (bitbucket, gitlab, github) and git-strategies
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Terraform and similar
• Experience in logging and monitoring stacks (ELK Stack , grafana, ... )
• Networks, nginx, TLS certificate management
• Full working proficiency in English

Nice to have:

• excellence Linux and shell skills
• (First) experience ARGO CD or ARGO Workflows
• (First) experience with gitops concepts
• Kafka or other event streaming services
• Distributed databases and FileStorage
• Firewalls and Backup management (in GCP)
