We are looking for a Technical Lead in our Data Science team to join us on this exciting journey!

Tasks

As our Technical Lead at Prewave, you will

• Plan and design features for our software, identify the requirements for the projects and create the timeline for the team
• Take initiative to improve our frameworks and develop new features
• Support and lead the development team on technical questions, delegate work and achieve daily, weekly and monthly tasks
• Onboard new people and help them to use our tools and frameworks productively
• Ensure open communication with the team about challenges, setbacks and achievements

Requirements

Must haves

• Master s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in working with Scala. SQL and databases
• Excellent leadership skills, experience in team leading
• Excellent communication, motivational and interpersonal skills
• Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken

Bonus points for

• Experience in how to work in a cloud based environment
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• A valid work permit in Austria

  According to our collective agreement, the minimum salary for this role is EUR 3,190 gross per month, however the higher packages are likely based on your qualifications and experience.
