We are seeking Certified Truck & Coach Mechanics (310T) or registered Level 4 Apprentices for a global supplier of industrial gases that serves a variety of industries: chemicals & refining, food & beverage, electronics, healthcare, manufacturing, and primary metals.
Knowledgeable, reliable, and team-oriented Diesel Truck Mechanics will join an established Shop in Scarborough, ON. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, responsible for the general maintenance and repair of systems and components of various heavy vehicles.
Heavy Vehicle Mechanics that excel in this role should have experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy trucks (Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo, Cummins etc) as well as CO2 and cryogenic units, and systems including engines, A/C, electrical, exhaust, brakes, axles, and piping systems. Electrical troubleshooting and schematic reading is paramount.Must be able to order, spare parts from suppliers and managing paperwork for heavy vehicle maintenance.
Must have the secondary school diploma, be a certified 310T/310J Mechanic, with minimum Class G driver s license.
Compensation
$30.00 - $38.00/hour to start based on experience and training. Full Benefits available immediately:
Schedule
Day Shift, 6:00am - 3:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Some overtime maybe required/on call during weekends or holidays
