Senior Artist Manager (Management, Sales) (m/f/d)

We are the artistic dance duet and choreographers Honji Wang and S bastien Ramirez.
Having our foundation in Hip Hop, we established our dance company, Wang Ramirez, in 2010 in France.
The company s unique choreographic language, full of technical virtuosity, poetry and humor has been recognized with many international awards.

Our mission is to create multidisciplinary works and pieces that move the audience in every sense. We truly believe that this cultural form is a great contribution to society and has an impact on all generations.

Our aim is to create a business organisation focusing into the industry of art, allowing us to develope even stronger as independant artists and to reach a broader audience.

Tasks

• Sales and Management developing the artist s careers
• Developing marketing plans and goals together with the artists and executing the artistic visions
• Selling our artistic potential towards different horizons and making our work visible to a variety of audiences
• Preparing and controlling budgets for projects
• Raising funds: new partners, sponsorships, grants, etc.
• Communication and marketing (export and market our artistic footprint)
• Leading the various teams involved in the production of projects
• Develop the activities of our structure

Requirements

• BA or MA Degree in similar fields preferred
• 4-5 years of relevant working experience and min. 2 years of experience in a senior role with a track record of growing businesses
• Business and Financial Management skills
• Salesperson and Representative towards brands and corporate
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team leadership skills
• Resilient and determined
• Comfortable with a high level of responsibilities
• Friendly, independent and well-organized
• Strong communicational and writing skills
• Experienced in Marketing and Public Relations
• Extensive industry experience and network
• Able to represent, develop and market the artists
• Goal-oriented problem solver with excellent leadership skills
• Versatility and flexibility
• Fluent in English ( Fluent in French is a plus)

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Full-time position with changing working environments. Phases of office work in Berlin or Paris and production phases.
• Traveling internationally with the artists for inspiration, creation and production and working closely with them
• Starting immediately
