As a Senior Backend Engineer (x/f/m) at Ninetailed, you will be working on our high-scalability, low-latency Experience API using Cloudflare Workers.

The Experience API is at the core of our product offering and sets us apart from the competition. In our close partnership with Cloudflare, you will be able to use the latest edge computing technologies before anyone else and get a direct line to the people working on them.

You ll join us at a pivotal moment in our company s history as we scale our Experience API from 100s of millions to billions of monthly requests.

Tasks

To be successful in this role, you ll grow to be very comfortable

• Creating and maintaining services using the Cloudflare Workers Platform
• Designing the architecture & API surface of the product
• Optimizing performance of individual services
• Improving our microservice framework
• Documenting the API publicly
• Writing unit tests

Requirements

Your profile

• You are proficient in TypeScript
• Previous working experience with serverless and cloud-native technologies
• Worked on performance-critical backends and passionate about optimization
• Strong background in building microservice architectures
• Ideally you have used the Cloudflare Workers Platform before
