Central to our purpose is the belief that to transfer groundbreaking research to stand-out ventures we need to work collaboratively. Therefore, we have not only cultivated a global network of partners but also built a physical home for the AI community in Germany with our AI Campus Berlin where we work and exchange with other bold minds.

Your role

Fertility rates in both men and women are significantly decreasing across developed countries. Today, approx. 1 out of 6 couples face infertility issues. Not only are we deciding to become parents later and later, it's also lifestyle and environmental factors negatively impacting our reproductive abilities. At the same time, success rates of assisted reproductive techniques (e.g. IVF) have stayed frustratingly low over the past 20 years.
Addressing this issue, we are building a venture that introduces AI-based medical decision support tools alongside a holistic health approach to the fertility treatment process. Ultimately, we will be able to improve the success rates of applied techniques and enable the creation of a new generation of fertility clinics. Our vision is to enable more couples to become parents.

This venture is ready to be incubated at Merantix, and we are now looking for a driven medical Co-Founder / Chief Medical Officer who will build and lead this venture to success alongside the charismatic and passionate CEO Felicia von Reden.

Your profile

We are looking for extraordinarily driven, capable, and visionary talent with an outstanding track record of personal, academic, and professional achievements.

• Medical Doctor, ideally with clinical experience;
• Specialization: Gynaecology / Embryology / Fertility Specialist;
• Digital health / tech enthusiast;
• Entrepreneurial drive and growth mindset;
• High ambition and the ability to achieve goals collaboratively;
• Work experience in a Start-up, VC, or Consulting is a plus;
• Strong business sense and decision-making ability based on analytical thinking skills.

In the end, you will be responsible for leading this venture along with the CEO from incubation to scaling, while our objective is to empower you in the best possible way!
At Merantix, we believe in the value of ideation, which is why our approach gives you enough time to validate your ideas. We combine this with mentorship, sparring with the other founders at Merantix or with external partners as well as an environment that focuses on knowledge sharing. You will get complete compensation for the ideation and incubation phase, as well as a majority equity stake for you and the founding team once you are ready to take off and received the seed financing.
