Senior Sales Manager

Salary: £50,000 plus £5000 annual bonus

WORKING HOURS: Usual working pattern will be 08.30 am to 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday

Seasoned Venues are an independently owned events company with venues based around the Uk. We are looking for a senior sales manager that will take a first-hand approach at managing the sales process and team at the Athenaeum in Bury St Edmunds as well as senior support for the sales managers at our other venues.

CORE DUTIES:


 To execute the sales and marketing plan for both venues in conjunction with the MP Development and undertake proactive duties within this plan
 To ensure efficient handling of all incoming enquiries for the department to achieve the annual sales target for the venues
 Day to day management of the Sales Executive and Sales Admin role to ensure they are working in the best way to convert incoming business opportunities
 Ensure all conversion rates and other monthly reports are submitted for the team at month end and monitored in discussion with the MP Development
 Apply the Partnership customer journey to ensure all quotes are handled in correct time frame with chase backs to increase chances of conversion

 Audit sales executive’s quotes to ensure no mistakes and selling the venues in best possible light
 Use sales techniques and closing sales skills on the phone and face to face at meetings and site visits to gain the clients confirmation of services
 Maintain regular contact with past clients and enquiries employing sales skills to gain more enquiries and confirmations from these clients.
 Produce all weekly and ad hoc reports for the department
 Ensure Connector is being used and data is clean and up to date
 Manage the team’s activities so all past client, past enquiries and proactive activities are achieved on a weekly basis

KEY ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT


 Identify and maintain database of 10 key clients
 Effectively communicate with Key Clients via telephone, face to face and written communication to identify full potential for, and to gain maximum commitment to use the venues


PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE


 Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of all the services available within both venues
 Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of competitor products

ADMINISTRATION


 Provide time-phased, qualified reports on achievement and activities.
 Plan diary to make effective use of working day. (Individual and team diaries)
 Maintain accurate records of all contacts and conversations with clients. (Sales report and summary reports)
 Handle correspondence related to all selling activities. (quotations, emails, confirmation letters to venues)

GENERAL


 Maintain high standard of personal presentation.
 Undertake all responsibilities with reference to Crown Partnership procedures.
 Ensure safe working area and work procedures in line with Company Health and Safety Policy.
 Obtain necessary authority for expenses and record in line with Company Policy.
 Undertake any reasonable duties as specified by line manager
