Job Description

- Assess, diagnose and treat transferees and stakeholders within the fields of Emergency Medicine and/or General Practice.
- Provide immediate assessment, diagnosis and treatment of transferees and stakeholders in remote emergency situation
- Provide advice and education to nurses and allied health professionals as necessary or as requested.
- Participate in periodic Fit to Travel (FTT) medicals as required.
- Participate in scheduled meetings and training as required or requested.
- Liaise with all parties involved in the medical management of transferees and stakeholders in the Regional Processing Centre. This includes health center staff, security and external health care providers.
