Experienced Electronics Development Engineer

To drive the future in e-mobility we are looking for an expert in electronics development to design and build the leading systems for battery management testing.

Tasks

This person is responsible for the end-to-end development of our HiL systems. He/she will be able to drive the design, development, programming and maintenance of innovative hardware solutions. The candidate will directly work with top-tier industry partners in the automotive industry. The position is focused on hardware but also contains firmware development. Experience in high-level programming is an advantage.

The ideal candidate will have a broad technical background, a solid understanding of applicable analytics, and a natural curiosity for producing effective solutions. This person is patient, has excellent time-management skills, and practices an effective communication style. He or she likes to think outside the box and challenges the status quo.

Requirements

Ability to work self-managednce (+3 years full-time)

• Design and develop Foster and engineer hardware solutions from conception over prototyping and productization. Evaluate customer requirements and determine existing product reach, potential restrictions, and future development feasibility. Work independently while testing all components in a fluid environment, facilitating verification and quality assurance throughout.
• Coordinate and support Maintain direct communication with the customer to understand needs throughout the development lifecycle. Work with the engineering team to execute timely and cost-effective solutions. Provide ongoing support and maintenance to the customer as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Solid HW development experience (+3 years full time)
• Basic SW development experience
• Experience in training people in HW development
• Fluency in English
• Ability to work self managed
• Working permit for the EU
• Experience with Altium Designer and KiCad

• Knowledge of Python / C / Git
• Microcontroller Programming
• Experience in EMC / CE Certification
