Frontend Developer

We are looking for a JavaScript developer who can build offline-driven frontend application using Vue. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known Vue workflows (such as Flux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.

Tasks

• Developing standalone frontend application from scratch using Vue and Web SQL
• Integration with public well-documented cloud-based API (REST, websocket)
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Optimizing components for high performance in modern browsers and devices
• Building app as Docker container and deploying to Kubernetes

Requirements

• Strong knowledges in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JS object model
• Thorough understanding of Vue and its core principles
• Experience with popular front application workflows (such as Flux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and websockets
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms (we use OAuth 2.0 and JSON Web Token)
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (NPM, WebPack)
• Familiarity with Docker
