Computer Graphics / Game Developer for VR Startup

Immersive technologies have shown huge potential to change the way we communicate and work. Through the natural real-world interaction afforded by virtual reality, our VR software product currently enables whole teams in various industries, ranging from healthcare to manufacturing, to design optimal process-oriented workspaces. As a software engineer at Inspacion, you will be part of a team, building the future of how organizations plan and operate buildings with the use of virtual reality technologies.

Founded in 2017, Inspacion is a 100% bootstrapped ETH Spin-off based in Schlieren, Zurich. Our SaaS product is being used by major hospitals, manufacturing companies, and partners in Switzerland and Germany. Currently, we are looking to expand our reach to the rest of the European market.

Tasks

As a software engineer in our team, you will take responsibility for key parts of our VR software and solve challenges at the forefront of XR related topics:

• Push advanced approaches for VR/XR which deliver outstanding performance and enable hours of user immersion
• Work with and integrate the newest standalone mobile VR/XR hardware
• Realize state-of-the-art approaches for handling and rendering complex 3D data efficiently
• Game development for serious game
• Fast prototyping, testing, and implementation of software components
• Take an active part defining both the long and short-term vision/roadmap

Requirements

We are looking for an excellent software engineer who can master challenging tasks and gets things done. Apart from your ability to work in teams, you should bring along:

• High level of creativity with an agile and autonomous style of work
• Excellent programming skills (C#, C++, GLSL/HLSL, or similar) and a passion for modern approaches to software development
• Background in computer graphics (meshing, shading, rendering pipeline) is a must-have
• Experience with game engines like Unity or Unreal engine
• BSc/MSc or higher degree in computer science or a related field
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
• You are eligible to work in Switzerland
