(Senior) JavaScript Developer (m/f/d)

About the Job

We re looking for an experienced Senior JavaScript Developer (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and lead its innovative technical improvement strategies.

In your day-to-day work, you ll focus on ensuring the improvement of the user experience and get the opportunity to contribute to various projects.

Join our portfolio company: A German customer service platform focused on connecting companies with support experts located around the globe. The startup collaborates with more than 30,000 service professionals, enabling them to offer remote support to companies through its innovative digital platform.

In this role, you ll:

• Be part of a cross-functional team and ensure the continuous improvement of the user experience of new products
• Develop user-friendly applications
• Be a competent contact person for project managers, provide feedback on user stories and be a supportive team member
• Have high quality standards and accompany the entire process from the development of the concept, to its testing and release
• Set new impulses for the functional and technical enhancement of existing web applications and, therefore, support the permanent development of the tech department

Your Profile

• 3+ years of experience as a frontend developer with JavaScript
• Deep understanding of Web-APIs and new ECMA-Script versions
• Mastery of tools like REST/JSON-APIs, Git/Github, CSS and customElements
• Work in a solution-oriented manner, think responsibly and pragmatically at the same time and enjoy taking on challenges
• Passion for applications development with excellent user experience and emphasise "clean code" when implementing ideas
• Know how to work successfully in a cross-functional team
• University degree in computer science or a comparable field or equivalent knowledge
• Fluency in English, German is a plus

Please note that we re looking for support in the Munich/Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work in the EU is required.
