Your tasks

Our CEO Piran has a crazy idea for our product portfolio? No problem - you structure the process and make the vision possible. As Head of Sourcing and Product Development, you are responsible for managing and monitoring our global sourcing activities in the food, kitchen accessories, and cosmetics areas. The following tasks await you here:

• You would lead a team of approximately 30 employees and report directly to the C-Level
• You are responsible for developing and establishing comprehensive procurement strategies and aligning them with our business strategy
• You are responsible for the ongoing improvement of our sourcing processes and ensure that existing policies and procedures are adhered to
• You analyze key figures, identify potential savings and derive from them concrete measures for optimization
• You ensure that day-to-day business runs smoothly by coordinating deliveries, conducting contract negotiations in an international environment, performing price and cost analyses, and managing the various product categories and continuously expanding our product portfolio
• As a true negotiation professional, you optimize our supplier conditions and keep an eye on the product quality and workflow-relevant processes in addition to the price
• You support the buyers in the final decision-making process regarding quality and price and work cross-functionally with our Quality Management, Operations and Design teams.

Your profile

• You have a degree in economics, food technology, or a comparable education
• You bring at least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in sourcing and already have experience in leading and developing employees
• You have extensive knowledge in product development and supply chain management
• You know the food and/or packaging industry inside out and have a broad network of supplier contacts
• You are fluent in German and English
• As a true negotiation professional, you are communicative, like to approach people and always get the best deals in contract and price negotiations with suppliers
• You have an analytical and data-driven mindset and work in a structured and organized manner
• You love challenges, like to take responsibility, and feel comfortable in a dynamic environment
• Last but not least: you are a true team player with strong interpersonal skills who loves to build positive working relationships.
