Host (Receptionist) @ ibis Hotel Landshut City

A little piece of Bavarian cosiness with all the modern amenities and services that a 3-star ibis hotel offers guests: This is our goal! With a total of 130 air-conditioned
rooms, a lobby bar, a summer terrace and our own parking spaces, we are easily
accessible at the Landshut train station.

Business travellers, leisure travellers, travelers passing through, regular guests, nature lovers, ice hockey fans... everyone meets here at the ibis Hotel Landshut City!

To support our front office team, we are looking for a host (m/f/d) with immediate effect or by appointment. You are the central contact person for all matters relating to our
guests. You help our guests with words and deeds with minor and major problems
and handle check-ins and check-outs professionally. You are pragmatic, flexible
and lend a hand. As a professional, you keep calm even in hectic situations.

Tasks

Tasks include:

-Greeting, check-in and check-out of our international and national guests

-Advice to our guests on questions about the hotel and the Landshut location

-Assistance in breakfast or bar service

-Processing of reservation inquiries, confirmations or special requests by telephone, fax or e-mail

-Preparation of individual and group arrivals

Requirements

Your profile:

-We are looking for an open-minded, motivated and, above all, friendly personality with whom we and our guests can have fun.

-Completed training as a hotel employee or relevant experience in the hotel industry is absolutely necessary.

-We require a strong guest and service orientation and pleasure in dealing with an international guest audience.

-Fluent written and spoken English and some knowledge of German are required in order to be able to communicate with our guests without any problems. We will assist you in developing your German skills.

- IT knowledge of a common hotel management system (PMS), ideally FOLS, would be great.

-Even if it sounds stuffy: We take a well-groomed appearance and good manners for granted :-)

You can work full-time (40 hours/week) on either four or five days. So you decide on two or three weekly days off. Monthly salary according to qualification btw. 2.350-2.700
