In a nutshell

Picnic is a visual brand. We offer a growing assortment of items that are photographed, prepared, and presented in visually engaging ways. As a Visual Designer intern, you ll be the creative link between business and marketing stakeholders, turning new concepts into beautiful content.

We are proud to make sure that each visual is pixel perfect. No matter the content, no matter the size. As a Photoshop prodigy, you accurately manipulate visuals with ease and pace. You ll surprise us with a keen eye for detail, and we ll regularly set you challenges to test your abilities.

Our modern, light-filled office is full of creativity and collaboration. You will have the opportunity to learn from great designers and work on all the graphics that are part of a growing business. Your designs will contribute to Picnic s story, and your creativity will help us establish the future of in-app grocery shopping.

What you ll do

• Work alongside experienced designers to learn all design aspects of the online supermarket business
• Develop cross-channel visuals that engage our existing customers
• Collaborate with business stakeholders crafting solid concepts
• Partner up with well-known brands on collaboration campaigns and new concepts

About you

• Student at relevant design school
• Passion for visual design and an attractive (online) portfolio
• Competent with Adobe Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Self-starter with a roll up your sleeves attitude, equally comfortable to lead and to follow
• Attention for detail, ability to notice the small but important things
• Awareness of the Dutch supermarket assortment and brands
• Ability to quickly recognize and adopt new trends
• Eager to learn in a fast-paced environment

Attractive package

We offer 800 gross salary per month for a full-time internship as well as 12.5 vacation days per six months, so you can recharge your batteries

Work-life balance

Where possible, we like to enable people to work in ways that suit their working styles, which is why we have a hybrid-working model. Our teams generally like to have at least one team day per week at the office (the tasty lunch and Barista-made coffee may be a factor), but besides that, it s up to you and your team.
