Lead Engineer: Confidential Compute — Container Encryption

Tasks

We want a lead engineer who is keen on solving a very hard, long-standing problem, namely the computation on encrypted data in use

We are looking for a passionate, results-oriented, and motivated self-starter to join the Development with a background in engineering, ideally with some experience in system (security) engineering. As part of the team, you ll be working with cutting-edge security technologies, including Gramine, Occlum and others. In fact, the technology you develop with the team is at the forefront of confidential compute, allowing you to leave a huge footprint in the (security) engineering community. Our team s mission statement is to provide anything that is possible to make the dream of computation over encrypted data become real .

What You ll Be Doing:

Building the technology to ease the development of confidential containers

• Owning the container encryption department
• Leading and mentoring a Development team
• Working closely with the CTO on product strategy and architecture
• Establishing best practices for development, deployment, and operations
• Spreading the word on conferences, meetups, podcasts or community get-togethers

Requirements

What You ll Add to enclaive:

8+ years of software development experience

• Significant experience as a software engineer, developer, or programmer building software used by 100s, if not 1000s of users
• Expertise or the willingness to learn one of the following technologies: Intel SGX/TDX and/or AMD SME/SEV
• Understanding of Linux Kernel, administration and internals
• Contributions to open-source projects are a plus
• Strong work ethics, demonstrated through your commitment, integrity, and ability to deliver
• Experience in leading software development teams
• A passion for life-long learning
