Job Description

PlaceSense is a fast - growing location analytics startup allowing businesses in the outdoor world to understand and forecast their competitor s people s movement, behavior, demographics and shopping power. KPMG described us as the Google Analytics for the physical world

PlaceSense, an israeli startup located in the heart of tech companies in Tel Aviv, combines proprietary machine learning and anonymization algorithms to create location insights, which are unique in their granularity and privacy protection. We are looking for a talented Sales Director in the DACH region who wants to grow in a fast paced environment where you can join an international commando team and have a significant impact on expanding the business target within our retail vertical. We want someone to bring their sales and customer facing experience, as well as existing vertical knowledge and network. You will present, scope, negotiate and close deals based on PlaceSense location intelligence platform and help grow our retail business in Germany.

This is an exciting opportunity for a results driven, sales and customer service focused individual. We are seeking you, a highly motivated tech-savvy person with great business sense who will be the driving force in identifying opportunities to increase sales and execute direct sales strategies.

Tasks

  • Be responsible for generating new business for PlaceSense - prospecting, navigating, and winning accounts that market share in target vertical sectors. You will exceed quarterly quotas by forecasting and winning deals that generate lasting value for clients and the business. Key sectors include Real estate, Retail, Out of Home Media and Municipalities
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales quota through outbound prospecting - strategically selling the company s various solutions to new prospects in a consultative manner
  • Manage the entire sales process, covering prospecting, discovery, demonstrations, proposals, negotiation, contracting, and handoff for implementation in the DACH region
  • Partner with your colleagues in Sales, Customer Success and Product development as a mouthpiece to establish a compelling value, and navigate the buying process
  • Build relationships across your accounts to create upsells and uncover the array of use cases PlaceSense can support

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of proven experience working in a sales management role or customer facing consultant preferably in large scale startup, selling SaaS solutions in B2B enterprise sales
  • Integrity, energy and dedication as we are looking for uncommonly good sales professionals with a highly collaborative, value - driven, honest, and direct approach to delivering outstanding results
  • Highly skilled in problem solving and analytics with the ability to translate analysis into recommendations
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English with the ability to inquire, understand, persuade, lead, and confidently address client objections or purchase obstacles.
  • Advanced people management skills - ability to work in an international team
  • A self-starter with the ability to work in a high-growth, rapidly changing marketplace
  • Accurate and detail-oriented individual who can own entire processes and is experienced in all areas of the sales cycle
  • Subject matter expertise in our key industries including, but not limited to Retail, Real-Estate Out of Home Media and Municipalities. Understanding of business models, key trends, personas, and common challenges
  • Experience with our CRM Tool Hubspot is an advantage
  • Ability and experience of working with data, interpreting graphs, tables and quantitative insights preferred
