We're looking for an organizational allrounder who will support our team with HR, finance and office tasks. We are a small though diverse and highly collaborative team based all around the world. Remote working is in our DNA. Our Headquarters are in San Francisco and Berlin, but we also have team members based in Chicago, Toronto, Shanghai, Buenos Aires, London, and Tokyo.

For User Acquisition Specialists, Data Analysts and Marketers fighting through the noise and gaining the attention of potential mobile users in this hyper-competitive market is a challenge. Tenjin provides them with a Growth Data Infrastructure so that user data analysis may be turned into profitable actions. This is expensive and at Tenjin, we help democratize the possibility of success for new and upcoming apps by offering a much more economical GDI solution. We have helped some of your (and the world s) biggest apps.

Tasks

  • HR tasks: managing the employee journey, developing a people strategy, increasing employee value, updating HR systems, Analyzing HR metrics, recruiting, management of employee benefits
  • Bookkeeping tasks; monthly bookkeeping, issuing invoices, managing expenses, communication with our tax advisor in Berlin, collecting the invoices and all needed documents
  • Budgeting and planning with the Head of Operations
  • Support with legal documents
  • Managing the office: You ll help design and decorate our office and make it a place that makes people excited to come to the office. You ll also be in charge of ordering snacks, drinks, managing packages, managing contracts, and relationships with our service provider (internet, cleaning staff, landlord, etc.)
  • Plan Events: you ll plan and coordinate logistics for events such as office retreats, social activities, marketing events, and customer workshops
  • Coordinate Travels: within a given budget, you ll help us book flights and hotels for business trips while being mindful of time zone differences and personal preferences

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in similar positions (team assistant, office manager)
  • Great organizational skills with attention to detail and precision
  • Amazing communication skills (openness, enthusiasm, clarity of information, attention to the team s needs)
  • Outside-the-box thinking, hands-on mentality, and the ability to take the initiative
  • A sense of task ownership and willingness to take initiative
  • Good Excel skills is a must
  • Fluency in oral and written English and German is a must
  • Startup experience is a plus, startup attitude is a must
