Data Engineer (m/f/x)

No project takes place without considering the business case, which is why we at KI performance are not only looking for pure techies but above all for communicative and creative individuals acting as interfaces between IT and business.

As Data Engineer (m/f/x), you will translate client business requirements into well developed solutions. Ideally you will be based either at our Cologne, Stuttgart or Munich office, however REMOTE work is possible with the requirement to travel regularly once the situation with COVID-19 is under control.

Tasks

• Design and implement cloud based Modern Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence Solutions.
• Focus on developing data pipelines, data models and performing backend implementations for software applications
• Advise customers on best practices and support our KI performance data team in building state-of-the-art data solutions

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in technology, engineering and computer science relevant field
• Excellent knowledge with Azure Key Vault, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Server and Microsoft Power BI
• Excellent knowledge with DAX, MDX, SQL and M (Power Query)
• Practical experience with SQL Server: SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
• Good understanding of common modeling approaches like Star schema, Snowflake or Data Vault and in-memory technologies
• Must be able to communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Must have excellent German and English written and verbal skills
