Lead DevOps Engineer (f/m/d)

We are looking for a creative lead DevOps engineer to optimize, automate, and enhance our company's infrastructure, systems, and overall software performance, stability, scalability, and reliability.

In this role you will also manage, coach, and supervise more junior DevOps engineers.

YOUR TASKS

• Hands-on leader for the DevOps team which is fully responsible for technologies, systems and environments, who will help Instamotion to scale up as fast as possible.
• Responsible managing and mentoring DevOps engineers.
• Drive the agenda of the team by applying agile processes.
• Work closely with the Engineering Managers.
• Responsible for securing and maintaining our AWS environment (dev, staging and production).
• Improve our infrastructure monitoring, cost and performance.
• Design and implement new solutions for existing and new projects.
• Help developers with their builds, deployments, and offer support and troubleshooting.
• Document processes and monitor performance metrics.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

• Experience building scalable infrastructures, preferably in AWS.
• Experience with the following AWS services: ECS, EC2, EBS, S3, Glacier, RDS, VPC, Public and Private Subnets, Route53, ELB, IAM, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, SQS, SES, Lambda.
• Experience provisioning infrastructure using Terraform.
• Experience in software deployment using Jenkins and GitHub actions.
• Full software development lifecycle experience.
• Expertise in leveraging Automation / DevOps principles.
• Able to apply best practices for infrastructure and software deployment.
• Experience with Docker containers.
• Passion for solving challenging issues.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
