Senior Front End Developer for fast growing cannabis healthtech company

Cada is an early stage, fast-growing, cannabis healthcare and telemedicine startup. We make it easier and more precise to access and prescribe medical cannabis.

Our technology platform connects patients looking for treatment with doctors, and offers a personalized treatment plan.

We help doctors in their therapy decisions with cannabis recommendations based on a patient's individual biology, health goals, and DNA.

We aim to help people feel empowered to make the right choices for their health by being transparent about the research backing up our recommendations and the fit of the recommended medicine.

Tasks

• Craft state-of-the-art web and mobile applications that empower our customers to have a health path that is both personalized and informative.
• Own the frontend across all of our website and mobile application
• creating systems and components that allow us to implement beautiful, consistent designs quickly
• Design and implement fluid transitions and animations to provide the best experience for our customers.
• Work with designers, engineers, product managers, marketers, and data scientists to create products that bring joy to our patients and doctors.

Requirements

• Fluent with modern JavaScript fundamentals
• Able to apply your understanding of HTML and CSS to implement pixel-perfect designs.
• Understand design principles including layout and typography.
• Well-versed with motion design and have created rich user experiences comfortable using React to create intuitive user interfaces.
• Familiar with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Experienced working with marketers and data scientists to uncover stories that help you design experiences that map closely to the needs of customers.
• Excited about the ways in which digital products can improve the lives of others.
• Motivated to bring new things into the world. Your work is your craft.
• Empathetic and respectful toward your teammates and the consumers of the products you create.
• Experience developing and designing for React Native or similar
• Experience developing and designing for the consumer health sector is a plus
