For our client, Knauf Group, a family-owned manufacturer and distributor of systems for drywall, flooring, plaster, and facades, operating in more than 100 countries we are looking for a talented Senior Solution Architect (m/f/d). Currently, we are building up an innovation department for our locations in Munich, Iphofen, and Katowice (Poland), where talented people can join our mission.

Our work will lay the global foundation with which Knauf companies and units will interact with their clients on a daily basis. We work closely with the core business and other IT departments to build a unified technical infrastructure. Tasks

• Designing and maintaining the architecture of a particular solution according to the general architectural Knauf guidelines
• Ensuring that the designed architectural standards are met in the underlying projects to achieve a standardized and harmonized domain/solution architecture
• Aligning business processes to IT processes in strong collaboration with business functions
• Consult development teams

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in solution architecture domain
• Profound understanding of requirements engineering, process and scope management
• Relevant experience in developing solution and business applications within a specific functional and/or technical domain
• Understanding of current and future technology trends, current and future application trends
• Knowledge of the interaction between CRM, PIM, DAM, CMS and other connected systems
• Hands-on technical experience with: cloud based microservice, and/or serverless architectures, RESTful or GraphQL APIs, Java, Spring, JavaScript, React, Kotlin, CI/CD
• Full written and spoken fluency in English - other additional languages are beneficial
