Junior WordPress Developer for Web Design Agency

Linkage Web Development is looking to hire (5) Five In-House WordPress Developers with 2+ years of working experience to join our team. 

This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and a good eye for clean aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, color and font choices, and so on).

We develop custom websites using WordPress, for our clients. WE DO NOT OUTSOURCE OUR WORK. Our clients buy directly from us and we produce our work IN-HOUSE which helps keep our quality high while our employees are provided an actual career path.

We also develop websites using Gohighlevel (page builder), so you need to have really good CSS skills.  If so, then building sites on Gohighlevel will be very easy for you to learn if you do not know already.  

Also expect to work on some Shopify websites :)

Pay 

. Initial starting basic salary of ₱18,000 with regular appraisals.

.Graveyard shift (our clients are in the U.S.). You will be required to work from 9:00 pm - 6:00 am Monday through Friday Philippine Time from our Baguio City Office.

Your Experience

• Solid understanding of web development best practices

• Skilled in HTML and CSS with a focus on cross-browser support

• Foundational knowledge of JavaScript with experience using jQuery

• Understanding of how to interact with WordPress and third-party APIs

• Ability to turn AI, PNG, XD and PSD files into a WordPress theme

• Complete website development to smaller web maintenance projects, product catalog websites and e-commerce

• Plugin research and customization

• The ability to build custom WordPress themes and strong familiarity with concepts such as custom post types and custom fields

• Ability to manage multiple projects at once, while accurately setting and meeting deadlines

• Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary

• Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively

• Strong attention to detail

2-+ Years in

• WordPress

• PHP development.

• MySQL experience.

• Front-end web development including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.

Here’s the kind of stuff you’ll do

• Use your knowledge of front and back-end development and WordPress to develop high-quality, high-functioning and beautiful websites for our internal projects and for our clients

• Collaborate with design and copy teams to translate campaigns and activations into optimized web elements - including websites, micro-sites, landing pages, integrations, systems, and forms

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

• Optimize code for maximum speed and scalability

• Provide strategic recommendations for design implementation

• Collaborate with other team members

• You’ll work in a team of 2-3 people on one or two projects at a time.

Ideally, you should also have a good aesthetic sense and be comfortable discussing design ideas, style tiles, and overall branding to develop derivative layouts and user interface elements without requiring specific design direction.
