We invite applications for a A Group Leader Position (Assistentenstelle) in Data Analysis and Modeling of Dynamic Processes in the Life Sciences
Tasks
The division "Data Analysis and Modeling of Dynamic Processes in the Life Sciences" at the Institute of Physics, University of Freiburg, Germany, invites applications for the position of a group leader. The scientific focus of the group is on mathematical modelling and data analysis in cell biology - systems biology, synthetic biology, systems medicine.
Requirements
- a Ph.D. in physics
- experience in data analysis and modeling of dynamic processes in the life sciences
- Postdoc experience
- experience in conducting interdisciplinary projects with biologists/clinicians
- high communication skills
- experience in leading a (small) group, supervision of Bachelor, Master, Ph.D. students
Benefits
- Payment: according to A13
- The position offers the possibility for Habilitation.
The position lasts for three years and, after positive evaluation, is intended to be renewed for three more years. Recruiting will be continued until the position is filled.
