Our client is hiring a team oriented External Sales Manager with strong sales acumen and a drive to succeed to join their Mississauga team! Our client is an Independent Canadian lessor offering leases on small ticket technology and equipment.

This role is establishing and increasing the flow of business from the regional IT and Office Equipment population and assisting with processing the resulting flow of leasing transactions from small and medium sized business customers.

Salary:
$50,000 - $60,000 / year

Bonus Structure:
0-35% Balanced Scorecard Bonus paid on basis of performance against volume and other targets, set on a quarterly basis.
Additional Profit Margin Bonus scheme.

Hours of Work:
8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining a sales relationship with a portfolio of dealerships to increase use of products and services.
  • Calling to arrange meetings, visits, new business volume, cycle time, delinquency and other performance trgets set by management.
  • Understanding, explaining and selling the lease product through dealers to customers, maximizing the various income opportunities available.
  • Processing lease transactions using credit scoring and other software, interacting with dealer and leasing customer as appropriate to close the transaction within market leading turn-around cycle time.
  • Efficiently performing the follow-up administration and paperwork for completed lease transactions.
  • Working efficiently and effectively with sales support partners and other team members.
  • Handling and resolving telephone inquiries from lease partners and dealers.
  • Supporting and participating in the ongoing marketing of the dealer base through direct mail, visits and telephone contact.
  • Actively participating in growing the business, flexibly handling ad-hoc tasks and special projects as they arise.
  • Completing company sponsored training to better understand the sector, financial tools used and sales skills.
  • Training more junior staff and sharing experience with the whole team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years account management and sales with proven ability to generate a flow of repeat business from initial sales contacts.
  • IT literate, numerate
  • Willing / eager to learn basic knowledge of financial analysis and credit.
  • Team oriented.
  • Flexible and willing to learn product and sector.
  • Motivated by bonus structure.
  • Degree from University is important.
