- Creating and maintaining a website’s structure to ensure it is compatible with web browsers, search engines, and other devices such as mobile phones or tablets
- Developing ecommerce websites that are easy to navigate, have relevant content, and provide high quality images
- Creating new products, updating existing ones, adding them to the website catalog, and managing inventory levels
- Identifying opportunities for improvement in conversion rates and recommending changes to increase sales or reduce costs
- Establishing an online presence for businesses through social media platforms such as Facebook or Twitter
- Creating and implementing marketing strategies based on customer data and industry trends
- Designing and developing websites using web design software such as Adobe Dreamweaver or Microsoft Visual Studio
- Building and maintaining online stores with an ecommerce platform such as Shopify or Magento
- Maintaining the security of websites through virus scans and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities that could be exploited by hackers
