Requirements

They are looking for an exceptional Business Development Executive to lead all sales and marketing activities inline with our growth strategy, working with both existing and new clients.

The role reports directly to the General Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Devise and implement Business Growth Strategies independently
  • Generate new B2B leads through various channels
  • Identifying suitable projects to pursue
  • Develop business from existing and new clients
  • Reply to enquiries, attend to client and prospect calls & meetings
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts, and other sales documents
  • Ownership of commercial aspects of all contracts, including the negotiation of contract terms/pricing with all clients
  • Use of CRM system
  • Reporting of monthly KPIs
  • Delivery of agreed monthly, quarterly, and annual Sales Targets/forecasts
  • Capture client feedback
  • Oversee marketing & lead generation activity
  • Locating/sourcing, organising and running of industry trade shows

Skills & Abilities:

Essential

  • An exceptional communicator
  • Proven experience in commercial contracts negotiation
  • Business development experience in a technical B2B environment
  • Must have a self-starter approach, that takes responsibility for all responsibilities list above
  • Strategic thinker
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Collaborative mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Keen to constantly learn and improve own skills
  • Familiar using CRM systemsto track and report on project/client progression
  • Familiarity of contract and commercial law
  • Detail focused and high standards
  • Passionate about emerging tech and sustainability
  • Experience working in contract electronics manufacturing would be beneficial
  • Ability and experience travelling within the UK regularly, and internationally on occasion
  • Full drivers licence and access to a vehicle

Benefits

Salary: 35,000/annum (commission/bonus structures are available and are to be agreed at the point of hire)

Holiday: 20 days, increasing 1 additional day per year of service to 25 days, and all bank holidays

Hours: Mon Fri 8:30 to 17:00

Office-based position: Salisbury, SP5 3HT (parking available). Mileage for travel will be covered at 0.45/mile (not to and from the office from home)
